Program Details

Zindua School is focused primarily on TWO on-demand technology pathways. Anything outside these two pathways is offered as a seasonal masterclass or in collaboration with specialised external partners:

1. Data Science: Become a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or Data Engineer by learning the fundamentals, skills, and technologies needed for Data Science. You can learn more about the program from our Data Science Brochure
   1. FREE Data Science Foundations: Runs for 3 weeks and is focused Python Programming foundations for Data Science. This sets you up with the necessary programming skills for our Data Science core program.
   2. CORE Data Science Bootcamp: Runs for 25 weeks and covers the following 5 modules/courses: Python Data Analysis, SQL Data Analysis, Machine Learning I, Machine Learning II, and Big Data Engineering. Students sit for the Microsoft Azure Data Associate certification on completion.
   3. Data Science Masterclasses: Additionally students can attend our optional but recommended masterclasses for Data Science: Microsoft Excel Masterclass, Power BI Masterclass, Product Analytics Masterclass. These Masterclasses are FREE for all Core Data Science students.
2. Web Development: Become a Frontend Developer, Backend Developer, Full-Stack Developer, Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Engineer by learning frontend development with JavaScript and Backend development with Python. You can learn more about the program from our Software Dev Brochure
   1. FREE Web Development Foundations: Runs for 3 weeks and is focused on web design with HTML and CSS as well as responsive design. These are the prerequisite skills to learn for any web development career.
   2. CORE Web development Bootcamp: Runs for 25 weeks and covers the following 5 modules/courses: JavaScript Programming, React Frontend Development, Python Programming, Django Backend Development, Databases & Systems Design
   3. Web Development Masterclasses: Additionally students can attend our optional but recommended masterclasses for web/software development: Figma UI Masterclass, UI/UX Design Masterclass, and No-Code Low-Code Masterclass. These Masterclasses are FREE for all Core Web Development students.
3. Masterclasses: Masterclasses are live or physical classes that we run quarterly in collaboration with industry partners and specialised industry experts. These masterclasses are either FREE or PAID based on the topic being covered. COMING SOON!

Financing Options

Core Program Financing

1. Upfront Payments: Students pay for the entire program in full (Ksh 100,000)
2. Flexible Payments: Students pay for the program in monthly instalments (Ksh 25,000 monthly for 5 months)
3. Income-Share Agreements (ISAs): Students defer a percentage of the their tuition into an income-share where they pay back the deferred amount as a percentage of their salary once they have graduated and are earning. These income-share are offered as follows:
   1. Defer up to 50% of Upfront Fees: Pay Ksh 50,000 upfront or Ksh 12,500 in 5 instalments, plus a 10% ISA Rate for 24 months, payment cap of Ksh 125,000. ISA will be active for 48 months after graduation but total payments will be 24.
   2. Minimum Amount Payable: The minimum amount payable for the ISA is Ksh 0 if one does not get a job throughout the payment window. Students also do not have to pay anything is their monthly salary is below the Ksh 20,000 salary floor.
   3. Completing the ISA contract: The ISA contract is determined to be complete when the student has made cumulative payments of Ksh 125,000, or the student has made 24 monthly ISA payments based on one’s income, or in rare case scenario, the payment window of 48 months comes without the student having gotten job/income for 24 months or more.

Additional Protection Options

These trust incentives ONLY apply if a student successfully completes the program: (Improves the graduation rates)

• Money Back Guarantee: For students NOT enrolled into an income-share agreement. They will have a 50% money-back guarantee if they do not get a job/internship within 12 months of graduation. However, this guarantee only applies if a student is not enrolled full-time in an educational program and is actively seeking employment.
• ISA Student Protection: Students will not pay their income-share agreement if their earning come from job that do not involve the skills learned while in the bootcamps. Example: if a Software Developer ends up becoming a mechanic, they do not have to make income-share payments for that job.

Special Financing Circumstances

1. I only want to pay for one course/module: If a student is not interested in the entire core program but wants to pay for one 5-week module/course in any of the core programs, that is possible and the amount payable is KSh 25,000. Note that ISAs do not apply under this plan.
